001 Chell - Video and Action

[Chell arrived in Luceti a few days ago and has since read the guides for the land. However, she has had no desire to use the journal.

Today, though, she decides to at least check it out and see how it works. Upon fiddling around with buttons here and there, she does somehow turn on the video feed.

Anyone watching will see Chell's unamused face briefly, for maybe a half minute, until she turns the feed off. She has nothing to say.]

[However, you can find Chell wandering around town. Who cares if it's raining outside. She likes it. It's been ages since she's been in the rain, so she is going to savor it.

Her Companion Cube, which she found in a nearby store, is with her. You might find her sitting on a hill, soaking in the rain. Or you'll find her out and about, walking around with the Cube.]

[Simba seems to be leading them towards the town, so at least there's that!

Also that he's bouncing around a little, tapping his paws and humming to himself.]

[Chell just... follows. Yeah, this is a weird lion. Not that she had really seen a lion up close before, but she did know logically that they usually didn't act like this one.

While before she didn't particularly want to be in the hustle and bustle of town, she is slightly more relieved to be here now, since perhaps others would see that there's a lion. Was she going crazy? Perhaps.]

[Well, luckily, it looks like everyone else in the village can see him, as they're going pretty far out of their way to avoid him. At least, the people who don't know him. He might pass a few people he's already made buddies with.]

[Chell does notice some others attempting to avoid the lion. Smart of them. At the same time, though... who had ever heard of a singing lion? Really? He was singing?

It was almost kind of amusing in a strange kind of way. This world really pulled in some strange characters...]

[And there's the hot dog stand! Simba smiles at Chell, before giving his order.]

I'll take mine without those bun things.

[Then Chell goes to order. Without speaking. Oh. This would be interesting. Though she noted how the clerk at the stand easily gave the lion a hot dog without any sort of questioning or looks. Was he scared? In denial? Or was the lion really the nice guy he said he was?

She didn't know.

So, when it came her turn to order, she just pointed at the hot dog grill in the back. Hopefully they'd get the message. When asked if she wanted a bun, she nodded.]

[Simple enough! Simba's just given a chain, which he whips around his head and wears like a necklace.]

Save a little flavor for grooming later, y'know?
