001 Chell - Video and Action
[Chell arrived in Luceti a few days ago and has since read the guides for the land. However, she has had no desire to use the journal.
Today, though, she decides to at least check it out and see how it works. Upon fiddling around with buttons here and there, she does somehow turn on the video feed.
Anyone watching will see Chell's unamused face briefly, for maybe a half minute, until she turns the feed off. She has nothing to say.]

[However, you can find Chell wandering around town. Who cares if it's raining outside. She likes it. It's been ages since she's been in the rain, so she is going to savor it.
Her Companion Cube, which she found in a nearby store, is with her. You might find her sitting on a hill, soaking in the rain. Or you'll find her out and about, walking around with the Cube.]

She's never heard of Clyton, though, so she tips her head slightly in mild curiosity when he mentions it.]

Not a bad planet, though it's all rock. Place I come from is known as the red canyon. There used to be places like that on Earth. They were called Badlands there.

She had never been to any "Badlands" though.]

Suits me fine, though. Never cared much for rain. Especially not this much. Too messy.

From her pocket, she pulls out a pad of paper and crudely writes one word and hands it to him.]

Chell. The name's Samurai Goroh. Maybe we'll talk again some time, when you decide to be around somewhere dryer. [He puts his shades back on again.] I'll ask about your box.
